Description
I’ve learned something about my art over the years: I paint best when I’ve stood in the place myself, when I’ve felt the air and watched the light shift in real time. The Linn Cove Viaduct along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. This miniature watercolor captures the quiet strength of that winding bridge as it hugs the mountain, the golden light touching the trees, and the sense of movement and peace that comes from standing there in person. It’s a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful journeys are the ones closest to home.
