Hello friend,

January is out the door. Are we still going with those resolutions?

No? That’s completely okay! Breathe.

I already had a crash out, even though one of my goals is to “go with the flow.” But fear not, together, we will continue on.

Hatred For Bugs, my novel about a young woman who leaves her miserable life to travel and search for herself, is now available at a local bookstore in Asheville, NC: Malaprop’s Bookstore and Cafè. And of course, Amazon.

I adore this little store in the heart of downtown Asheville. They’ve got a cafè to sit and chill at, author book signings, and weekly book clubs of all types of genres. What I love the most, though, is that it is the one bookstore that said yes to my book after dozens of proposals at different stores.

Finally, I can see my work on the shelves. There’s no greater honor…

Right now, I’ve got two pending writing projects in the editing stage:

Faith Journal: Vulnerability, a faith-based series where I go over many life experiences (even the hard, cringe-worthy ones) that got me where I am today.

Dreams: Stories, a series of fictional short stories that are juicy, mind-boggling, and funny to read. Every single chapter is a dream I’ve had. By the way, my dreams are oddly vivid—things I don’t personally even think about.

Stay tuned for future updates.

Introducing the new tier of original paintings… drumroll please…

5×7 inch Luxury Tier

Sacred Rest Onsen is the name I came up with for this piece. Once when I was stationed in Japan, my good friend convinced me to join her at a bathhouse. Without any idea of what to expect, I politely accepted. It’s a form of trust that fosters deeper relationships, cleanses the body, and breaks down social distinctions.

There is a special kind of quiet that only exists in places of rest. The whole purpose of the painting is to capture that. God blesses us with the gift of relaxation. Don’t deny yourself of it.

Throughout the year, I’ll be working on many projects. Stay tuned for more updates, or visit the shop directly using this link: Books and Art Shop

Note: All links on the website lead to Amazon.

Thank you so much for reading!

Is there anything you’re working on this year? I’d love to hear about it.
